1. We are implementing a 2 wallet system: a Main wallet and a Purchase wallet.
   • No more Amount Reserved, 75% of earnings will go to the Main wallet and 25% of earnings will go to the Purchase wallet.
   • The amount in the Main wallet can be withdrawn or used for purchases.
   • The amount in the Purchase wallet can only be used for purchases.
   • Your amount reserved will go into your Purchase wallet and, just like in the old system, must be used for purchases.
   • No more second guessing, you can watch your Main wallet grow (purchases from the Purchase wallet will not affect your Main wallet).
     
   • No more stalling, the amount in the Purchase wallet must be used for purchases (can not be withdrawn) to keep our members earning and our program growing. Keeping the money in the Purchase wallet does not benefit you or anyone else in the system, it will only decrease the profit sharing and the cycling speed.
     
   
   
2. All pending withdrawals will be canceled and put back in the accounts so we can build the 2 wallet system from scratch.
   • The amount reserved will be placed in the Purchase wallet.
     
   • The remaining amount (if any) will be placed in the Main wallet.
   
   
3. A new withdrawal system will be installed. The new system will be able to handle withdrawals more efficiently and a lot faster than the old system.
   • Withdrawals can be made from the Main wallet only.
     
   • All withdrawals will be checked for validity and withdrawals with any error will be declined immediately. Please make sure that the information in your Profile page is correct before making any withdrawals!
     
   • All withdrawals will be routed into different payment stations for payment processing (payment stations are independent of each other and can work concurrently for faster services).
     
   • Each payment station will check the accounts and make any necessary adjustments (i.e. program error, error in amounts, etc.) prior to payments.
   
   
4. Purchases.
   • Purchases can be paid with the Main wallet or the Purchase wallet.
   
   
5. Profit sharing is based on sales!
   • Profit sharing is based on sales! Please do not send a support ticket asking for it (we do not control sales). As the number of active adpacks increases, we need to increase sales also to maintain the profit sharing amount otherwise it will decrease.
     
   • As stated on our site "Those who promised a fixed percentage or a fixed amount at a certain fixed time are guaranteed to fail. You can not make a promise based on "unpredictable" future sales. With our system, there is no preset time, frequency, amount, or percentage for profit sharing. It varies throughout the day depending on the number of sales (upgrades and purchases)."
   
   
6. The Transfer option will be enabled again!
   • Transfer amount can only come from the sender's Main wallet.
     
   • Transfer amount will go into the recipient's Purchase wallet and can be used for purchases only.
     
   • Maximum amount is $15 per transfer with $1 processing fee.
   
   
7. Modifications in sponsor bonuses and cycling commissions. We will evaluate all pay plans and make changes as necessary.
   • Instead of a one-time (up front) sponsor bonus, we will award sponsors with cycling bonuses which will give sponsors unlimited bonuses as members can cycle over and over again. This will give our members additional long term income.
     
   • Cycling bonuses will also stimulate program growth (give incentive for members to buy adpacks to promote cycling).
   
   
8. Since all the cyclers have grown so big, we will add a new level to some of them to speed up cycling. Please pay attention and take advantage of these changes.
   • The sooner you buy and create a position in the new level, the sooner you will earn.
   • To be fair to all members, members can only buy one position during the first 3 days. This will allow as many members as possible to have a position in the cycler. After the 3rd day, members can buy one position a day like before.
   
   
9. Past due accounts.
   • All 90 days (or more) past due accounts will be removed from the Main matrix and lose all downline (if any). You can not earn from the Main matrix (and your downline) if you are not participating in the matrix (only paying members can stay in the Main matrix as non-paying members do not contribute anything to the matrix).
   
   
10. Suspended accounts and account terminations.
    • During the upgrade, every account will be checked and those who cheat the system (and those who have cheated and abused the system for many months) will be terminated. We have designed the program so that everyone can earn income. This is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme (they do not exist), but with time and patience, you can earn a lot from the program. Please remember that hurting the program will also hurt other members including your own account. It is better to earn steadily for many years than earn a little bit more for only a few months!

Once the upgrade is completed, please read the How It Works and FAQ pages (before logging in) thoroughly to make sure that you understand the program (and the new improvements/changes) completely.

PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT:

Please protect your account at all times.

When changing passwords, please do not use previous passwords or
passwords that you used in other programs (TEs, safelists, mlm
programs, etc). Those programs may not encrypt passwords and they
can easily be stolen. Also change passwords to your email accounts.
Many hackers get access to your accounts through your emails. I have
seen the same members keep getting hacked.

Your dashboard shows the last time you accessed your account. If you
think your account has been compromised, please check your Profile
page immediately and make corrections as necessary then go to your
Security page and change your password.

If you forget your password, please do not send a support ticket.
Admins can not see or change passwords (they are encrypted). You must
click Forgot password from the Login page to reset your password. If
you tried Forgot password several times, make sure that you use the
password from the last email (all other passwords are no longer valid).

It is your responsibility to protect your account from unwanted access.

you do. Our top earners have at least 5 - 10 direct referrals.

They earn from their referrals when their referrals make purchases

Some earn more from their referrals than from their own efforts.

When members do well in our system, we make sure that their sponsors
are also doing well or even better. This encourages members to help
their referrals succeed because the more money their referrals make,
the more money they will make.

MAXIMIZE YOUR EARNINGS:

To maximize your earnings, you must diversify (buy different adpacks).
You can build your account as big as you want it. Our top earners
built their accounts for several months (buy adpacks with their earnings),
and now they can withdraw thousands a month (most of them spent less
than $200 out-of-pocket).

Our top earners are buying different adpacks regularly (whenever
possible). The more adpacks you have, the more you will earn from
profit sharing (immediate income) and the more positions you have
in the cyclers (long term growth/income). Many of you buy the same
adpacks every day... although all adpacks are good (and expire at
150%), they have different payplans and re-entries (longevity).

Positions are cycling in the order they are created (no sponsoring
needed to cycle). The sooner you buy an adpack, the sooner your
position will cycle.

You will get 150% of your purchase cost through profit sharing...
so please treat CYCLING as a BONUS (no matter how long it takes). This
way you are not waiting for it (many other so called rev share programs
do not have built-in matrices and cyclers... income comes from profit
sharing only).

And remember, this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. You will not make
thousands in a week or a month, but with good strategy and persistence,
it is possible to make thousands in a month (or even in a week) in
the very near future.

There is no preset time, frequency, amount, or percentage for profit
sharing. It varies throughout the day depending on the number of sales
(upgrades and purchases). Those who promised a fixed percentage at a

Due to the large number of active adpacks (over 150,000), the profit
sharing is done in stages. Newer members (presumably make less than
older members) will get their profit sharing earlier. As soon as
we have enough sales to distribute the minimum amount of profit
sharing (at this time set at $0.05), the program will distribute it
to the designated active adpacks. This amount may be lower in the
future to increase the frequency of profit sharing distribution.
If you do not receive your profit sharing, please be patient... we
do not control profit sharing distribution... it is based on actual
daily sales.

This is an important update for all RefBan members.

It's just over a year since we officially launched and the past 12 months have been a very bumpy ride. Over that time we've come to know 3 important things... 

1. Changing the world is expensive. 

  For a project like this you need a huge amount of funding, a dedicated team, great hardware and a complete understanding of the banner advertising industry. It soon became clear we had none of these things and even though the site was making money our unique advertising model wasn't producing anything like the results we expected.

Soon we had dozens of support tickets from people who didn't understand why RefBan didn't work like other banner networks. We explained that we're different and that the majority of income wasn't generated by user banners, but by referral banners (as the name suggests). Still people didn't understand and they slowly stopped promoting us, reducing sales and daily impressions to the current level.

It became clear that without serious investment we'd never be able to teach everyone the benefits of our new model. Sales and impressions would continue to fall and we'd have to close the site. That's why over the next few weeks we'll be switching to a standard CPM model, just like every other network. It's a shame we have to abandon our original goals but when faced with financial reality, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. 

 

2. Nobody has their own website anymore. 

 
A few years ago a new banner network would have no problem attracting thousands of users and generating revenue. The web is a very different place these days. We discovered to our cost that most web users now spend the majority of their time on Facebook, Twitter and other social sites. Rarely setting up their own blogs, websites or other places that could host our banners.

To combat this we created a way to generate revenue by sharing links, just like a URL shortener. Although as it worked with our 'complicated' model, we saw a massive increase in sales and impressions for a few weeks, then users once again abandoned it due to lack of understanding. For this reason we'll also be paying users a standard CPM rate for displaying banners on shared links. 

 

3. We won't give up.

Over the last few months we have gone through no less than four programming agencies from all over the world. We've spent thousands of dollars, moved hosts multiple times and have dealt with dozens of people. Now we finally have the correct hardware and skills to push things forward, you can rest assured that we won't stop until we're successful. Many people in our situation would simply take the site offline. We've seen it time and time again, even with major companies. However, we believe that we have the start of something very special and with hard work RefBan can become much more than we ever hoped. All we need is a little time and patience.

Moving forward our action plan is as follows:



1. Week 1 - Starting 12th May. 

 
We've had several requests from users that they want to upgrade their accounts with their earned balance. For this reason we'll be cancelling all currently outstanding cashouts to enable those users to make a choice. We'll be offering upgrades at a cut price of $50 per year instead of $89, so it's a great way to save money while making it. Of course, this will also give us more funds to work with, so please don't just cashout again straight away and give upgrading proper consideration. This price is available for a limited time only and you may not see this offer again. 

2. Week 2 - Starting 19th May. 

 
Next week we'll start rolling out the new CPM model. Earnings from referrals will remain unchanged. You'll still earn a flat rate for every day of activity and up to 30% per sale as you do now. 

3. Week 3 onwards - Starting 26th May.

Paying a standard CPM rate should increase coverage and everyone's impressions will be used faster. This means advertisers will buy more frequently, referrals will be more active and therefore users' earnings will increase too. We'll be building a brand new dashboard interface for monitoring statistics, then shortly after we'll be redesigning the entire site to provide support for banners of all sizes.
